So, since my end-of-the-week post isn't just about what I got in my mailbox or on my Kindle each week -- though that is a big part of it, I won't lie -- I decided to change up the title and intro a bit. I might tweak the format a bit over the next few weeks, but for the most part, it'll contain the same stuff: stuff I got, stuff I did, and stuff that's coming up on the blog. Plus, I get to use the awesome GIF you see here and blow kisses to all the people who sent me lovely books and bookish things. Oh, and I've started linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews since I'm not using a specific meme title anymore. April's also doing her own Stacking the Shelves posts on Sundays. Stop by and say hi! =)
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday if you celebrate it or a just a great week otherwise! :) I'm stuffed and happy and being lazy...thank goodness I have all these new reads to keep me cozy on the couch! :D
Here's what I scored this week:
For Review:
via Edelweiss
Illusionarium by Heather Dixon
A Sense of the Infinite by Hilary T. Smith
Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider
Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge
The Secrets of Attraction by Robin Constantine
The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zak by Brian Katcher
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
Things We Know By Heart by Jessi Kirby
Making Pretty by Corey Ann Haydu
Proof of Forever by Lexa Hillyer
Yay for Harper day on EW!!! :D I may have gone a little overboard, but that's nothing new. ;0)
And then I also got these lovelies:
The Creeping by Alexandra Sirowy - sounds super creepy and thrilling
Hear Me by Viv Daniels - love her works as Diana Peterfreund and her other NA title under this pseudonym...hoping for an unusual holiday tale from her with this one!

Library:
Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt - for the 40th Anniversary Blog Tour...one of my favorite stories, I can't wait to re-read it!
Won:
Nada.
So, that's my haul. How about you? What did you get this week?
The Week in Review:
Reviews:
- The Sweetest Thing (April)
- Stray - audio (Jen)
Promotional/Discussion Posts:
- Our Winter Must-Read Books - the top ten books we've just got to get to this winter
- Waiting on Wednesday - this week we're waiting on The Fill-in Boyfriend & The Sin Eater's Daughter
- What We're Thankful For - in which we get mushy about the bookish things we're thankful for
- What We Read in November - we revisit our Fall TBRs and measure our success
I know this doesn't release for awhile, but I can't help myself. I just loved Hodge's debut, and a Little Red Riding Hood retelling sounds PERFECT!
I didn't really know much about this book until Sarah J. Maas got all fangirly over it at #TTBF last month. The author was also there and I got a signed copy, but Tim Curry narrates this, so I'm going the audio route.Like honest reviews & giveaways? Be sure to follow us on Bloglovin' so you never miss out!
Awesome haul, Jen. I don't know where to start. Lol. The Improbable Theory looks cute! Enjoy everything, anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant haul, you've got a great selection of books. I have such cover love for the Illusionarium, it's so pretty. I also really like the look of Proof of Forever, tempted to download that one but my TBR is pretty full atm. I hope you enjoy all of your reads this week :) Here's my STS.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm going to have to swing by edelweiss as there are quite a few of those that I'd love to get my hands on, with Crimson Bound and Illusionatarium topping the list :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
It looks like most of the people got great titles from Edelweiss this week. I'm especially excited because of Crimson Bound.
ReplyDeleteYou have some books that I want… to read and steal! Kidding, don’t steal! :)) Happy reading!
