In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.

Seriously soooo much HarperCollins love below, I don't even know what to say. Except, thank you for the opportunity. :)  Also, I didn't ask Santa for anything this year because I didn't want to seem greedy after all of  the awesome new reads I got this week.  :-P

For Review:

Everbound by Brodi Ashton - OMG, you guys!  You should have seen the happy dance I did upon opening the package containing this book.  Seriously, I loved Everneath, but man, after that ending, I was dying.  I cannot WAIT to start this one.

Requiem by Lauren Oliver - To have this in my hands right now!  I've been wishing and hoping and just plain ole wondering what would transpire after that crazy cliffy at the end of Pandemonium.  Now that I have it in my hands, though, I'm scared.  Too many what-ifs and what-could-have-beens!!!  :*(

Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi - PERRRRRRYYYY!!!!!  Okay, I'm done.  Seriously, though, after that taste of the Never Sky world in Roar & Liv, I was salivating for this book worse than ever.  Glad to have something tangible to drool over.  =)

The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd - Even if I hadn't like The Island of Dr. Moreau -- which I did, of course -- I would still want to read this book because it sounds effing awesome.  Maybe I should read the original story, too?

Mind Games by Kiersten White - Premise sounds awesome...um, assassin sisters, espionage...fun times.  I just hope it's a little edgier than her Paranormalcy series.

Prophecy by Ellen Oh - Sounds a bit like Rae Carson's The Girl of Fire and Thorns but still different enough that I won't compare the two while I'm reading.  Hopefully.

Pivot Point by Kasie West - Dude, I tried so hard not to want to read this.  But alternate realities?  C'mon...that is so my kind of read.  Even with everything else on my reading plate.

Nobody But Us by Kristin Halbrook - The first three words of the summary were all I needed to read.  I am always down for a chase.  Sounds dangerous and fraught with emotions.  I think I'll like it.  :)

Revolution 19 by Gregg Rosenblum - Haven't heard much about this one and I'd like to keep it that way...for the sheer enjoyment of it.  Sometimes not knowing leads to the best adventures.

Wasteland by Susan Kim & Laurence Klavan - Um, "hermaphroditic outcasts" are mentioned in the summary on Goodreads, and maybe I'm just curious to see how that's going to play out???

Splintered by A.G. Howard - Alice. ALICE.  ALICE!!!!  Yeah, I'm a bit obsessed.  Can't wait to read this retelling.  After all of the reviews I've seen, I am positive I will enjoy more than Alice in Zombieland.

'Til the World Ends by Julie Kagawa, Ann Aguirre & Karen Duvall - Love anthologies...especially containing short stories from worlds I already know and love.

Big, big thanks to HarperCollins, Amulet, Harlequin Teen, Netgalley and Edelweiss!!!

Won/Gifted:

Meant to Be by Lauren Morill - signed ARC won from Tara at Hobbitsies + signed swag [review]

Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor - signed exclusive exteneded preview  won from Much Ado About Books [review]

The Farm by Emily McKay - won from Jenny at Mimosa Stimulus, can't wait to read this novel about vampire ticks!

Purchased:

Angelfall by Susan Ee - This book was just $1.75 on Amazon for a paperback.  I loved it when I read it earlier this year and I know I'll want to read it again because it is that good, so why not have a hard copy, right?

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan - Bought the audiobook because I'd never get to read it otherwise and it's perfect for this time of year.  [review]

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith - Another audiobook.  I'm in the mood for feel good reads.  This satisfied that requirement.  Look for my review soon.  :)

I don't even know which book to start with!!!  Good thing for my trusty spreadsheet!  =)  So, how did your mailbox fare this week? What is your favorite new book?

    1. The extended preview was what was sent out in lieu of ARCs because the book wasn't ready when ARCs would have been printed. I agree...it was soooo good! One of my favorite series and favorite reads this year.

    1. Oh, I forgot you'd already read Requiem. I'll have to hurry up and read it so we can compare notes. And don't fret, I pretty much only get approved for HarperCollins books. The other pubs don't like me on Edelweiss. :(
