In My Mailbox #69

Saturday, February 16, 2013 with 10 comments

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.

So, after all my whining on Sunday, did I do any better this week?  Weeeeellll....

For Review:

The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2)How My Summer Went Up in FlamesIn the Shadow of Blackbirds

The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa - This is a sequel I've been pining for, especially after reading the prequel to this series recently.  I am really, really hoping for some more Kanin.  He is such an enigma and I must know more.

How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski - I freakin' can't wait to read this book!  It sounds sooooo fun.  And I just adore that cover!

In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters - This was just my Waiting on Wednesday pick!  Looks like some of Jen's WoW luck rubbed off on me!  Squee!

Huge thanks to Harlequin Teen, Simon & Schuster, Abrams/Amulet, Netgalley & Edelweiss for the awesome, awesome books for review!!!

Purchased:

The Reece Malcolm List

The Reese Malcolm List by Amy Spalding - I'm trying really hard not to purchase anything other than audiobooks these days, but Jenny at Mimosa Stimulus highly recommended this one.  I passed on it when it was up on NG, but it was only $4.99 for my Kindle, so I went ahead and picked up a copy.  I don't know when I'll get to it, though...

I cannot wait to get to these books!  I'm so excited for them that I may say screw the schedule this week.  :-)  What goodies did you get?

  1. I got The Eternity Cure too! (I have no idea how I managed that) More Kanin is definitely something I'm looking forward to. He's such a mysterious character.

Your other books don't looks too bad either. There's a couple there I want to read eventually. I hope you enjoy them!

  9. Okay, so my WoW luck ran out. I put Tarnish by Katherine Longshore as my WoW and that very same day, I got rejected for it on Edelweiss. And I haven't done a WoW since then.

I think our luck got reversed, like in that Lindsay Lohan movie. Which makes me Chris Pine, I think.
