I'm doing some fall cleaning to get ready for the holidays and that means I'm getting rid of books! My pocketbook won't thank me for the ginormous shipping charges (even if these giveaways are only available to the US...sorry!), but my bookshelves will! :0) Big thanks to Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer for hosting this Clear Your Shelf event!
Okay, so here's what I'm going to do: I have several books from several genres, so I'm going to put together two mystery boxes -- one full of young adult and middle-grade titles and one containing adult titles (must be 18+ to enter this giveaway). The books in these boxes may be finished copies or ARCs. I'm actually not done with my cleaning yet, so I'll be adding to the boxes as I go. I may even add a second box to each giveaway and pick a second winner...just depends on how the cleaning goes. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI'm not too fond of the lower temperatures, but I am happy with the lower humidity. I also love this time of year because it is both my sister and my birthdays, plus Diwali, so it is always a fun time of year.

Thank you for this amazing giveaway! I am originally from Upstate NY and now living in TN so I love the colder weather this year the most! But I also like that its not too warm out for hot chocolate and hoodies. Thanksgiving is a favorite of mine too! The leaves in all the different colors are probably always going to be my absolute favorite of mine though! Thank you for the chance to win!

I love the cooler temps and I love the changing of the leaves. I love living in a state that they actually change colors instead of going from green to brown... I love thanksgiving & christmas. They're two of my favorite holidays and I had my son right around thanksgiving in 2003 so I always look forward to his birthday although it makes me sad to realize that he's going to be 9 this year. :( Only thing I am not looking forward to is the fact that my dad isn't gonna around. This was also my dad's favorite time of the year.

DeleteMy favorite thing about fall is the cooler temps (NOT a big fan of the hot, hot days we have in NC) and the changing leaves. My favorite thing about the fall is the temperature change and then being able to wear fall clothes... but this year it hasn't really worked out because it's still like 80 degrees one day and raining the next. :P

The thing I love most about fall is all the time of school! We have a lot of vacation during the fall months. I say this only because Florida doesn't really have a "fall", and the weather doesn't really change. I wish I lived somewhere more fally!

I can't really narrow down what I like best about fall..the whole season is like a beautiful, long awaited gift just waiting to be slowly unwrapped and savored. I tolerate the long hot southern summers with the promise of the anxiously awaited autumn seasons...the smells of cider, cinnamon, and pumpkin pies as well as the decorations for my beloved favorite holiday, Halloween! Hayrides, leaf piles, bonfires, hoodies and boots! Long dark evenings spent with good books and hot beverages! I would love to experience fall year round :).
