"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's WoW selection is...
Author: Ann Aguirre
Series: Razorland, 3rd & final book in the series
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Publication Date: October 29, 2013
The epic conclusion to the USA Today bestselling trilogy.
The horde is coming.
Salvation is surrounded, monsters at the gates, and this time, they're not going away. When Deuce, Fade, Stalker and Tegan set out, the odds are against them. But the odds have been stacked against Deuce from the moment she was born. She might not be a Huntress anymore, but she doesn't run. With her knives in hand and her companions at her side, she will not falter, whether fighting for her life or Fade's love.
Ahead, the battle of a lifetime awaits. Freaks are everywhere, attacking settlements, setting up scouts, perimeters, and patrols. There hasn't been a war like this in centuries, and humans have forgotten how to stand and fight. Unless Deuce can lead them.
This time, however, more than the fate of a single enclave or outpost hangs in the balance. This time, Deuce carries the banner for the survival of all humanity.

Why I'm waiting: First, I love this series about zombies that aren't zombies. It's equal parts intense and wrought with emotion, and each book has left my heart pounding in my chest. I love this author's style of writing and I can't wait to see how she writes the ending of this harrowing tale.
What are you waiting on this week? Feel free to share it in the comments or leave a link so I can stop by!
I have to say I love the covers in this series. I haven't started Enclave yet. I go back and forth on whether I want to. I'm not quite sure about this series yet. Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteI've had Enclave for a long time now, but still not sure this series is for me. And wow, that cover is something! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually read zombie books but you say these are zombies that aren't like zombies? That's interesting to me. I may have to look more into this series. :)

I just recently read Enclave and loved it. Great pick
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the series yet because I thought it didn't sound like my kinda thing, but you know how much I enjoyed Ann Aguire's Thistle&Thorn story in the Til The World Ends anthology! So I might give Razorland a try after all :)
