I have yet another awesome cover reveal for you guys today! I've only just started my eARC of The Collector, but I'm already dying to get my hands on a copy of the sequel. Lucky for us, it comes out later this year! No waiting an agonizing twelve months (or more!) between books! :D And I just so happen to get to help with the cover reveal:
The official book blurb will be revealed April 2013. In the meantime, here's a note from Author Victoria Scott:
Hey guys! While I can't reveal many details yet, I will say this book was enormously emotional to write. More action, new characters, higher stakes, and a whole lot of sexy. I hope you enjoy reading the next chapter of Dante Walker's story!
By the way, Dante wants me to tell you..."Things only get darker from here, doll. Might want to hold my hand for this."

Eeek! Look at that unholy hawtness! And Wendy Higgins blurbed it! I am so friggin' excited for Victoria!!! And in case you're not familiar with this series yet -- improbable but not entirely impossible, I suppose -- here's the skinny on Dante...I mean The Collector:
Author: Victoria Scott
Series: Dante Walker
Publisher: Entangled Teen
Publication Date: April 2, 2013

Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Stealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.
Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

Don't hate but I'm not a fan of the second books cover *runs and hides* It to me just has a feel of cheesy romance novel you'd find in a truck stop or gas station.
ReplyDeleteYeah, both are kind of cheesy, but that's what I love about them. These are going to be fun books, not books I take seriously. And I am totally okay with that. :)
DeleteI'm patiently... okay, let's change that right away. I'm NOT SO PATIENTLY waiting for The Collector to go up on NetGalley. I really, and I mean REALLY, want to read it. I do like the second cover, though I like the first one a bit better. :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like the first cover better, too. Maybe it's just me, but the guy on this cover kind of reminds me of Kenny Chesney...and in my book, that's not a good thing. :P
DeleteEEP! So excited! Finishing up The Collector today!
ReplyDeleteEeeek! I've barely started it. I'm savoring the Dante. =)
Deleteis it the same guy? they look kinda different but then again you don't really see his face. Anyhoo, i'm excited for this new series. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell...it looks like a different guy to me, too. *shrugs*
DeleteMan, I really need to start THE COLLECTOR--everyone raves! Fun to see this cover, thank you for the sneak peek. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Midnight Garden
