So, since my end-of-the-week post isn't just about what I got in my mailbox or on my Kindle each week -- though that is a big part of it, I won't lie -- I decided to change up the title and intro a bit.  I might tweak the format a bit over the next few weeks, but for the most part, it'll contain the same stuff: stuff I got, stuff I did, and stuff that's coming up on the blog.  Plus, I get to use the awesome GIF you see here and blow kisses to all the people who sent me lovely books and bookish things.  Oh, and I've started linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews since I'm not using a specific meme title anymore.  April's also doing her own Stacking the Shelves posts on Sundays.  Stop by and say hi!  =)

Katie's last day of school was on Wednesday, and since I already had Monday off for Memorial Day, I went ahead and gave myself a five-day weekend. And working only Thursday and Friday AIN'T BAD. :P

Two-day weeks ROCK! All weeks should be two days of work and five days of play! And because I knew I only had two days to get stuff done this week, I was working super hard, even with my friend teasing me about Caraval all day yesterday -- and me sneaking some reading in while I waited for things to load or print. :D

Okay, okay. On to the books. Here's what I scored this week...

From Publishers:

Um, I don't even know what to say about my awesome haul this week, other than I wish I could call in sick for the next month and read them all right now. :P

Traded:

New #booksfortrade | Have You Seen This? post coming soon with some new books up for grabs! I'm still looking for a few high profile ARCs, like Throne of Glass, The Near Witch, and Scarlet (Gaughen), plus some other 2016 releases.

Freebies:

I'm not grabbing this week's free audiobook offerings from SYNC, but you should totally check them out!

Library:

Exquisite Captive (Dark Caravan Cycle, #1)Blood Passage (Dark Caravan Cycle, #2)

My hold on Blood Passage came through this week so I had to re-check the first book so I could start my re-read. It's not as good as I remember it, but maybe that's because I've read so many other jinni books since I first read it.

So, that's my haul. =) What fabulous bookmail did you get this week?

The Week in Review:

Reviews:

The Crown's Game (The Crown's Game, #1)

Promotional/Discussion Posts:
Currently Reading:

Caraval (Untitled, #1)OMG THIS BOOK IS FUCKING AMAZING!!! I'm buddy reading it with my friend Sabrina and it's seriously the best. Like, can't stop won't stop reading it. It's dark and magical and I never want to quit this book. I want to live in it.

Currently Listening:

The Unexpected EverythingYeah, I didn't actually end up starting this last week, so after I finish the last little bit I have on Blood Passage, I'll start it. I love Morgan Matson. But for some reason, I've been hesitant to pick this one up. But April, my lovely co-blogger extraordinaire, bought me a copy and it was the equivalent of the GIF below. So, I think we're going to review it together once we're both finished. Cause that's usually what we do with MM's books. :D

  1. I'm going to read 738 Days next and I'm SO excited!! I hope you liked it, I'll be on the lookout for your review. My son's last day of school was Thursday and I'm SO happy to get to spend the summer home with him again. I don't know how many of these we will get (until I have to get a real job, blah), so I'm just trying to cherish it. And don't be sad you didn't go to BEA, because it looks like the publishers sent you the "best of" any way!!

  2. So jealous of A Torch AGainst the NIght and Caraval! The two books I'd kill for. Such a great haul! I am hoping maybe I got some of them at my work address where I often have publishers mail me. And I agree about not being sad for BEA, you do look like you got a lot of the big ARCs anyway! :-)
