In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.
For Review:
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, courtesy of Netgalley
Won:
Divergent by Veronica Roth, paperback from The Story Siren (thought I was entering to win an ARC of Insurgent -- that'll teach me to be more attentive!)
Purchased:
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
The Mortal Instruments boxed set (TMI #1-3) by Cassandra Clare - I'm neurotic and need all of my Cassie Clare books in the hardcover format so they match :D
The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting - b/c I want a finished set even tho I already read as part of an ARC tour :)
Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
Soul Screamers Volume 1 by Rachel Vincent - again b/c it'll make my shelves purty :P
My mailbox this week was pretty much about making my shelves more beautimous. My husband saw the TMI boxed set and indicated that I already had those books in paperback, so would I be giving the paperbacks away on the blog, to which I replied, "Maaaaaaaaaaybeeeeeee." :P What he doesn't realize is that I haven't been buying many books at all lately -- at least none that he's seen...what I've bought recently have mostly been ebooks on the cheap -- so I decided to splurge a bit. :0)
What spoils did you receive in your mailbox this week?
Nice haul! I really want My Life Next Door! And I love the Bitterblue cover. I really have to read the rest of the series haha :p

Me, too! Wish I had time to read CoLS NOW! I thought I'd get to it this past w/e. :( Also, I've already read the Soul Screamers series...I'm just a little neurotic and wanted the omnibus for my shelf. :P It's one of my favorite series, too, though. :D
Deleteoooh, I really want to read My life next door. I got denied for it on net galley though, the little pee-on that I am. *sniffles*. lol
ReplyDeleteI'll live though. I'll just buy it when it comes out.
Oh, i have that cassie clare box set. Brian got it for me for christmas not last year but the year before. when I originally read them, I had read a friends. those covers are so gorgeous. I will always have to own the HB's for her books. Soon, I will get around to reading city of fallen angels. I need to get on that shit. I can't keep up!
I miss you by the way. You aren't around as much. But I think about you! Can't wait to tweet you the trailer when it's done! I hope that you will like it.
Bitterblue cover is so pretty! I've been meaning to read that book for a while! I haven't read many historical fiction so I'm unsure how I'll like it. Hope to see your thoughts of it in a review sometime maybe? (:
