Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome ladies at The Broke and the Bookish. Apparently, they are overly fond of list-making and love to share their bookish lists with the rest of us book nerds.  =) We're game.

This week's topic is the Top Ten Books I Can't Believe I Haven't/Want To Read From X Genre (for example I feel like I'm pretty well read in contemporary YA but there are some STAPLES I can't believe I haven't read. Or if you just want to list books you WANT to read in a particular genre..not necessarily long overdue):

April's Picks:

I'm not going with any specific genre, but clearly have an issue with finishing series books. With the exception of two, all of these are series/trilogies that I started and have not gotten around to finishing. I would like to knock a couple of these off the list this year. Not sure when I'll find the time but I need too! lol. Especially the ones that I only have one more book left. It's a problem, I tell ya!

Jen's Picks:

I'm going with fantasy because it's my favorite and there are definitely some staples I should have read already. :) I seriously can't believe I haven't read some of these!

As you can see, I already own four that I've vowed to read this year and hopefully I can find some of them on audio to ensure that I read them sooner rather than later. Which one should I start with?

Which books can't you believe that you haven't read yet? Be sure to share a link to your TTT post so we can visit!

Of April's I've tackled some, Clockwork Prince, Fever, Requiem, World After, and Crossed. I recommend getting to them ;)

  4. So many of these books are on my list! Jen I also included Finnikin and the Rock, the Abhorssen trilogy, and a different Holly Black series. Mistborn is amazing, read it ASAP! I also read A Wrinkle in Time a few years back and really liked it. Hope you check them out and enjoy!

  7. I'm notoriously bad at reading sequels and finishing series, too. April, you have to read the rest of Cassie Claire's books! Fever is such a fantastic end to a brilliant series! Jen, you should definitely read A Wrinkle in Time. It's one of my all-time favorites. Great lists, I hope you get to read them all soon!

  12. I feel happy and sad. Happy that I'm not the only one that hasn't read these and sad that I...haven't read any of these.

The Maze Runner,A Wrinkle in Time and Tithe are definitely on my TBR though! As is the whole Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments series.
