So, since my end-of-the-week post isn't just about what I got in my mailbox or on my Kindle each week -- though that is a big part of it, I won't lie -- I decided to change up the title and intro a bit.  I might tweak the format a bit over time, but for the most part, it'll contain the same stuff: stuff I got, stuff I did, and stuff that's coming up on the blog.  Plus, I get to use the awesome GIF you see here and blow kisses to all the people who sent me lovely books and bookish things.  Oh, and I've started linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer since I'm not using a specific meme title anymore.
"Please note that I am currently out of the office..." Man, there is nothing, nothing like setting your out of office before leaving for vacation...even if it's only a mini-vacation. Any time away from work is a godsend. Especially after how busy this week was in general...and I was only there for three days of it! Lol.

We're taking a family trip -- all three sisters and their families -- to a waterpark, where we're staying at a cabin inside the park so we get exclusive access to rides and pools and stuff. It's going to be pretty sweet, especially with how hot it's been around here lately. Like, when Katie gets in the sprinkler, I kind of want to just go sit on it and hog all the water. But I don't. ;0)

Okay, okay. On to the books. Here's what I scored this week...

From Publishers:

Big thanks to Griffin Teen, Random House, and Scholastic for all of these amazing packages!

Traded:

New #booksfortrade | Have You Seen This? post with some new books up for grabs! I'm still looking for a few high profile ARCs, like Throne of Glass, On the Fence, and Scarlet (Gaughen), plus some other 2016 releases.

Freebies:

The Young World (The Young World, #1)Symphony for the City of the Dead: Dmitri Shostakovich and the Siege of Leningrad

You can grab both of these titles from SYNC this week, but only through Wednesday.

Purchased:

Okay, so these maybe should show up under freebies because with my B&N windfall, I basically got them for free, but whatever. I'm just happy to have them for my shelves. =) =) =)

Library:

Boys Of Summer

After loving Jessica Brody's A Week of Mondays, I knew I had to read this one. Especially since it seems SO perfect for summer reading by the water. :D

So, that's my haul. =) What fabulous bookmail did you get this week?

Currently Reading:

Blood For Blood (Wolf By Wolf, #2)Taking my time with this one...so much political intrigue and the war aspects are just fascinating. I'm honestly hoping to have finished this novel by the time this posts so I'm not consumed by it over vacation, but I also know it's going to crush me on an epic level, so...maybe waiting is better.

Currently Listening:

The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy: The Summer I Turned Pretty; It's Not Summer Without You; We'll Always Have SummerI'm in the mood for sweet, summery listens, so I'm reading The Summer I Turned Pretty series. April got me these books ages ago, but the best way for me to get to backlist titles is via audio. Still, I love that I have these books on my shelf. Jenny Han's books are just too cute not to.

  1. I hadn't seen the Pride and Prejudice coloring book, so cool! Looks like you got some great books this week. My Barnes and Noble settlement wasn't that big, of course I rarely spend any money on ebooks, mostly just get the free ones. Looking forward to some of your upcoming reviews.

  2. I am very jealous of your vacation. I had to take one early in the year for a family event (when the weather was still cold and yucky) so I won't be getting one this summer. I hope you enjoy every minute.
