So, since my end-of-the-week post isn't just about what I got in my mailbox or on my Kindle each week -- though that is a big part of it, I won't lie -- I decided to change up the title and intro a bit. I might tweak the format a bit over the next few weeks, but for the most part, it'll contain the same stuff: stuff I got, stuff I did, and stuff that's coming up on the blog. Plus, I get to use the awesome GIF you see here and blow kisses to all the people who sent me lovely books and bookish things. Oh, and I've started linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews since I'm not using a specific meme title anymore. April's also doing her own Stacking the Shelves posts on Sundays. Stop by and say hi! =)
What a long, rainy week! I'm so glad it's finally over and that we're supposed to have absolutely lovely weather this weekend! Perfect for reading in the hammock! =D
We're gearing up to celebrate our 5th blogiversary here at The Starry-Eyed Revue, but after five years, it's hard to think up new ways to do that. What do you like to see? Giveaways? Posts looking back? Do you even care? ;0)
Okay, okay. On to the books. Here's what I scored this week...
From Publishers:
Thanks to PenguinTeen for this seriously awesome The Last Star promo package featuring a poster, chapter excerpt and tote bag! I AM THE BATTLEFIELD!!!! :D :D :D
Traded:
Look for a new #booksfortrade | Have You Seen This? post soon! I'm still looking for a few high profile ARCs, like Throne of Glass, The Near Witch, and Scarlet (Gaughen), plus some other 2016 releases.
Library:
So, that's my haul. =) What fabulous bookmail did you get this week?

Currently Reading:
I want to be reading about a different Blue this weekend, but I already pre-ordered a signed copy and the audiobook and just cannot justify getting a copy from B&N, even if they do have it out days early. Bastards. So, I will just avoid the internets as much as possible until Tuesday so no asshole spoils me. Because I will murder the person who ruins that ending for me. MURDER. So, yeah, I'm reading this instead. =D
Currently Listening:
I've seen a lot of people just discovering this book for the first time, and it made me want to re-read/listen to it. So, here I am, listening again...and wishing I had Blood for Blood in my hands already.

Oh I so want to read Wolf by Wolf as well. I don't know why I keep missing it whenever I'm at the bookstore. That swag from Penguin Teen looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I finished the audio for Wolf by Wolf this morning and immediately wanted to read the Luka novella she wrote. And I still really hope for an early copy of Blood for Blood. Otherwise, I'll probably have listened a few more times by release day. :P
DeleteI hope you had a great weekend!
You seem like you had a busy week. I hope you enjoy all of your new books. Awesome haul.

Not too bad. I'm not complaining anyway. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOMG I feel the same way about TRK. I per-ordered it too, so I am avoiding Twitter like the plague! I bought all the hardcovers of the three previous books, and will try to read them leading up to Tuesday. I want it to be a long, wonderful reading journey. I will also be ticked if anyone spoils the plot. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI just...it's not fair! LOL. I've already finished my re-read and I really could have used the book early, but whatever. Luckily, I'll have it first thing tomorrow a.m. and no one's spoiled me yet, so there's that. :) I hope it is every bit the amazing reading journey you're hoping for!
DeleteI'm gonna have to look out for your review of PS. I Like You! I love Kasie West so much and I'm excited to read that book!
ReplyDeleteIt was super cute. Reminded me a little of The DUFF. Might be my new favorite book by West. :D
DeleteThat Penguin haul is fabulous! I've been trying hard not to grab all of the new releases on my list and also not do any more pre-orders. I have so many books to read already. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I was pretty excited to get it, though I am considering giving it away. ;0) I've been better about not ordering/pre-ordering too many books, but when they have fabulous pre-order swag, it's hard.
DeleteI am so excited for The Last Star, and that tote bag is so cool! I'm extremely jealous. :-) Great haul this week. Looking forward to celebrating your 5 year blogoversary!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Sunday Post
I cannot wait for THE LAST STAR! I still need to see The 5th Wave movie, though. :( And thanks...I hope we figure out something fun to do. =)
