"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week's WoW selection is...

Title: The Geography of You and Me
Author: Jennifer E. Smith
Series: n/a
Publisher: Little, Brown BFYR
Publication Date: April 15, 2014

Lucy and Owen meet somewhere between the tenth and eleventh floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, they spend a single night together, wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is restored, so is reality. Lucy soon moves to Edinburgh with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father.

Lucy and Owen's relationship plays out across the globe as they stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and -- finally -- a reunion in the city where they first met.

A carefully charted map of a long-distance relationship, Jennifer E. Smith's new novel shows that the center of the world isn't necessarily a place. It can be a person, too.

Oh, my goodness!  This book sounds adorable...kinda like Smith's other books.  :)  And I love how this cover matches the others!  So bright and cheerful!  Can't wait to see them all side by side on my shelf!

Now that you know what I'm dying to read, what are you waiting on this week?  Feel free to share it in the comments or leave a link so I can stop by!

  12. I haven't read any of Jennifer's books yet but they all sound fantastic, and this one is no exception! I love books where a lot of things happen in a short time frame and that seems to (at least partly) be the case here :)
