***The Starry-Eyed Revue***: the demon trappers

Okay, so I totally stole this idea from Sara at Forever 17 Books, who got the idea from an article on Babble called Judging a Book by Its Cover: A 6-year-old Guesses What Classic Novels Are All About. I just discovered her lovely segment, and I immediately ~~requested~~ forced my own four-year-old daughter Katie to provide me with some of her own cover art artwork and then asked her what she thought the book was about.

This week, Katie gave me her take on the following book:

"It's about a girl who wants to go to the city and take the moon, and the girl is young."

The Demon Trapper's Daughter as envisioned by Katie

I feel like the only one of my friends who hasn't started this series yet, but at least I didn't have to wait impatiently for each book. I believe the fourth and final installment was just released in August. So, yay, I can read the series from beginning to end now. :) I should probably finish up some other series before I start this one, though.

This is the cover on the paperback I have on my shelf, though from the looks of it, they've changed up the covers a bit to look more like the UK editions. I'm glad this is the one I have, though, because I like Katie's summary. =D

Have you read this book? What do you think of Katie's guess at the premise? Did your little darling create a work of art based on a book this week? If so, be sure to link up with Sara over at Forever 17 Books.
