The Books Are Falling...Onto Our TBR Piles

Friday, September 11, 2015 with 6 comments

Now that school's in session and life has kinda-maybe-sorta slowed down for us, we've finally gotten a chance to compile our Fall reading lists. These are books that we've received for review, or that we've wanted to read for some time and have just been putting off, or are somewhat scary or horror-filled, just in time for Halloween. We missed doing our usual Summer reading lists so much, but life was just too busy for both of us the last few months. Maybe we'll be able to stay on track with these reading lists over the next few months. =)

April's Fall TBR:

I have been so busy lately and I'm not sure I can do this! lol. But I'm going to try. Girl of Nightmares, I've had on my fall TBR list for years. I suck. Hoping to squeeze it in. The one I'm most excited for is Shallow Graves. I grabbed that one for review on Netgalley. What is more creepy than a girl waking up and clawing her way out of her grave?

Bring on the cool temps and pumpkin everything. Can't wait to cozy up with these.

Jen's Fall TBR:

Okay, so all of these I received for review, and some are maybe a little scary. But I've been wanting to read all of them for ages. I just tend to stick to a schedule, which doesn't always work out in my favor. =( Some of these I may pick up in audio, just because I've already listened to prior books in the series in that format...and to help speed my TBR along. ;0)

ETA: Guess who just completed the first book on her Fall TBR?!? THIS GIRL! I finished Nameless last night and it was worth all the hype that initially made me take notice of it. Next up is Nightfall, I think. Bring on the creepy!

In case you haven't noticed, we like tasking ourselves with piles of books to read and then lamenting the fact that we didn't get to them all, lol. What's on your Fall TBR?!?

  1. Oh, I like your guys' picks!! The Dream Thieves is AMAZING, and I still haven't read Girl of Nightmares even though I own it. I'm kinda putting it off until October. I'm going to try harder this time to actually stick with some scary/horror books.

Jen, Six of Crows is BRILLIANT! I really hope you love that one. I've heard such great things about Nameless, and I'm definitely putting it on my to-read list. And oh, A Madness So Discreet and The Great Hunt sound perfect for this fall.

I hope you both are able to read some of these, and that you like them! :)

  2. All of these look amazing! I'm highly anticipating Six of Crows, the Great Hunt, Dreamstrider, and a Madness so Discreet.
    Happy readings!

  4. Ayurvedic medicine has a long history of success with piles. Its natural ingredients do not cause unwanted side effects and are a safe and effective treatment for piles. Unlike homoeopathic medicines, Ayurvedic medicines are free of chemicals, so there is no need to worry about side effects. Ayurvedic piles relief capsule is a highly effective option for relieving the discomfort of this condition.
