Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome ladies at The Broke and the Bookish. Apparently, they are overly fond of list-making and love to share their bookish lists with the rest of us book nerds.  =) We're game.

This week's topic is the Top Ten Underrated Authors or Books in X genre.

April's Picks:

  2. I've been wanting to check out Bright Before Sunrise because I love that cover. I'll have to bump it up on my TBR.
I have Jennifer E. Smith on my list. I don't think she's super underrated but I still want her books to get more attention. :)

  3. I love the description of Some Boys! I remember adding it before it came out but then I kind of forgot about it... and I had no idea that What Happens Next was about date rape! o.O
I haven't read any of these before, though some of the covers look familiar...

  4. I have a few of these on my Kindle, but most I haven't even heard of. I added a bunch to my wish list - Some Boys and Torn Away sound great. Great list! =)

  6. YES to Maybe One Day and Bright Before Sunrise. Two books I really enjoyed that many haven't read yet. I still need to read Something Real. I've wanted to read it since I first heard about it. I'm not sure what's taking me so long, but I really need to remedy that... and SOON!

  7. My love for Something Real and What Happens Next knows no bounds. They will always have a place on my favorite shelves. I hope more people will read them, too. I had some issues with Bright Before Sunrise, but it's a beautifully written book.
    Great choices, girls!
