There are so many awesome finales releasing in the next few months, but one that makes the top of the list for me is Marie Lu's Champion.  After that epic cliffhanger in Prodigy, I've been waiting with bated breath for this final installment.  The wait's almost over, but in anticipation of Champion's release, the publisher has released an excerpt and trailer for your viewing pleasure, which I'll be sharing momentarily.  But first, a little more about this explosive final book in the Legend series:

The explosive finale to Marie Lu’s New York Times bestselling LEGEND trilogy—perfect for fans of THE HUNGER GAMES and DIVERGENT!

He is a Legend.
She is a Prodigy.
Who will be Champion?

June and Day have sacrificed so much for the people of the Republic—and each other—and now their country is on the brink of a new existence. June is back in the good graces of the Republic, working within the government’s elite circles as Princeps Elect while Day has been assigned a high level military position. But neither could have predicted the circumstances that will reunite them once again. Just when a peace treaty is imminent, a plague outbreak causes panic in the Colonies, and war threatens the Republic’s border cities. This new strain of plague is deadlier than ever, and June is the only one who knows the key to her country’s defense. But saving the lives of thousands will mean asking the one she loves to give up everything he has. With heart-pounding action and suspense, Marie Lu’s bestselling trilogy draws to a stunning conclusion.

And here's the teaser trailer:

How excited are you for November to get here?!?  I think it's rather apropos that this book is releasing on Guy Fawkes Day, and I can't wait to see how well it's received. It's going to be an epic finish for a brilliant series, and if you haven't yet started these books, I highly recommend them!

  1. I still haven't started this series even though I have the first two books. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers so I'm waiting to read them all at once.

  3. I read the first in this series, but haven't gone any farther. The second appeared to go into dangerous triangle territory. But I'm hoping some friends will screen this for me and let me know how it all turns out (not literally, but whether I should invest). Glad that you're super excited, though!!

  4. Jen, how did you hear about this? Did the pub contact you? Or did you just see the trailer and excerpt? So curious. I love these promo parts from you in addition to everything else you ALREADY do to promote titles, but I am also so very curious :).
