In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.
I am looking forward to a gorgeous weekend outdoors. I hope you all got lots of goodies this week and that you have beautiful weather where you're at for lots of outdoor reading time...if that's the sort of thing you enjoy. I do! =)
Here's my haul...
For Review:
Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo - OMG! I had this on NG and I didn't get back to DL it before it was archived and I was devastated. But, I have some of the best blogging friends around, and my friend Jen over at YA Romantics offered to let me borrow her ARC. I'm in the middle of it, and you should see how many sticky tabs I have marking my favorite passages so I can go back to them when I'm done. After meeting Sturmhond, Jen's going to be lucky to get this thing back! Just kidding, Jen! I promise I didn't drool on it too much. :P
Goddess by Josephine Angelini - Got this from an Around the World ARC Tour. I like this series about modern day demigods. I know there are some that have a lot of complaints about this series, but I've enjoyed it for the most part, and I'm really interested to see how it all ends for the girl with "the face that launched a thousand ships".
The Elementals Series by Brigid Kemmerer - Thank you, thank you, thank you to Kensington/KTeen, Brigid Kemmerer and The Midnight Garden for putting the blog tour together for Spirit and allowing me to be one of the Elementals Virgins! Feast your eyes on the hottness! Doesn't it just make you want to join in our read along and experience it for yourself?!?

I find the Underworld intriguing and am hoping we get more of that goodness in this installment.
Are these not some seriously awesome covers?!?
I'm actually in between audiobooks at the moment, but I'm considering Crash next. Has anyone read or listened to it? It's either this or Vlad. But with that one, I can't listen around people because I blush too easily. :P
The Week Ahead:
Look for a special announcement later this week regarding the blog!
The Signed Books Giveaway starts on Monday!
As I mentioned before, I'm one of the Elementals Virgins on the Spirit Blog Tour hosted by The Midnight Garden! You can read more about it over there, but check back soon for details on the read along I'm co-hosting with Steph from Cuddlebuggery!

I still haven't read Shadow & Bone *flail* and I'm getting sort of pissed off at myself about it. But there are so. many. great. books!! But I'm really happy you managed to get the sequel after all - I hate it when a Netgalley book is archived before I got around to downloading/reading it :(

I listened to Crash last week and I really enjoyed it. The narrator did a great job with the humor and also with the male voices. I definetly recommend it.
