In My Mailbox #76

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.

Another busy weekend:  this morning I'm participating in The Color Run with my younger sis, then we're finally going to go see The Host, and then tonight we're going to the Victoria Scott signing/launch party for The Collector.  Squee!!!!  I hope you all got lots of goodies this week!  Have a great weekend!   =)

This is W.A.R. by Lisa & Laura Roecker - Revenge stories are the best.  I haven't read their other series, but if this is half as good as it sounds, I'll be picking those Liar Society books up next.

The Pirate's Wish by Cassandra Rose Clarke - I think I squealed a little bit a lot when my friend Em told me this was up on Netgalley.  I just finished listening to the first book and promptly downloaded the short story from Naji's POV and was dying for more.  I even made this my WoW pick this week before I knew it was available for review.

Firecracker by David Iserson - If I hadn't gotten that email from Penguin yesterday, I don't know when I would have discovered this one.  It sounds hilarious, but even better?  This guy writes for one of my favorite shows!  View the book trailer, with cameos from several of New Girl's stars.

My pre-ordered copies of The Collector finally arrived!!!

Buddy reading this one with my friend Em.  Pretty much, we're both hoping for some more Kanin.  We're on schedule to read three chapters a night, but things are starting to get good, so I have a feeling we'll break that deal over the w/e.  :D

I am seriously considering my first DNF review with this one.  It's really disappointing (and frustrating) considering I was highly anticipating its release.

Currently Listening:

I felt like listening to something cute and fluffy after finishing my re-read/listen of Graceling.  Don't worry, I'll pick up Fire soon; I just wanted to listen to something that would lift my spirits.  I hope this one doesn't disappoint!
