In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.
Not too much this week. I'm trying to be good. LOL. I was able to go without requesting a Netgalley title for an entire week, so I consider that an accomplishment. :P
For Review:
Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock, courtesy of Southern Book Blogger ARC tours
Purchased:
Easy by Tammara Webber, ebook for $3.99
And that's my haul this week. Nothing impressive, but I'm excited about these books, regardless. I've wanted to read Hemlock and Easy since I first heard about them. And I just finished up the first book in Kelley Armstrong's Darkness Rising series on audio yesterday, so of course I had to download the audio for the sequel. I usually wait till an entire series is available on audio before starting it, but I got the first book in an Audible sale a little while back and couldn't resist starting it this week in my downtime at work.
Now I want to see what books you got your hands on this week. You know the drill. :)
I'm listening to the calling now
ReplyDeleteSeems we have the same taste in audio. :) You *were* the one who rec'd DoSaB to me, after all. :D
DeleteGreat haul this week! :)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to reading Hemlock in the future and while I haven’t heard of Easy before seeing your post, I am really intrigued and think I will add that one to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week!

I'm easing into Hemlock. It's decent so far. :) I probably won't get to Easy anytime *real* soon, but I don't know how long I can put it off. :P Hope you have a great week, too!
DeleteGreat haul! Hemlock sounds interesting and I can't wait til it's out so I can read it myself (: First time I've heard of Easy but it sounds good, so I'm adding it to my to-read list :P haha. I haven't tried audio books yet because the whole experience doesn't seem as good as reading it yourself but I might give it a try sometime.

Actually, I believe Hemlock is already on shelves! :) I received it as part of an ARC tour, but it got to me after the release date. (Yep, I just checked, and it hit shelves on 5/8.) So got pick it up! :P
DeleteI thought the same thing about audio before I gave it a try, but it's really helping me make a dent in my TBR pile and it passes the time at work a lot quicker. ;)
Oh how I wish I could listen to audio books when I'm working!! lol.
DeleteGreat books this week! I have Hemlock too, but haven't read it yet, eek! Easy looks to be a great read, I look forward to seeing what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :)
