In My Mailbox #108

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It's a weekly meme where we all get to brag about the books and swag we got in the mail, for review, won in contests, etc.

I'm in Austin this weekend for Mendy's 30th birthday, so I won't be around much, but lots of awesome stuff on the blog this week, plus I got some great new reads.  Here's what I scored this week:

For Review:

The Treatment (The Program, #2)The Unbound (The Archived, #2)Taste of Darkness (Healer, #3)Altered (Crewel World, #2)Defy (Defy, #1)

Thank you, Simon Pulse, Edelweiss, Disney Hyperion/Victoria Schwab, Harlequin Teen, Netgalley, AudioGo, Audiobook Jukebox & Scholastic for the review copies!!!

The Treatment by Suzanne Young - OMG!!!!!!!!  I've been expecting a denial for weeks now, but I GOT APPROVED!!!  Will be starting this one VERY soon.

The Unbound by Victoria Schwab - Won this won from a contest hosted by the author herself for a full-length eARC on Netgalley.  Time for a re-read of The Archived!

Taste of Darkness by Maria V. Snyder - I just realized this was up on NG.  I love Maria V. Snyder, so this one was a must.

Altered by Gennifer Albin - Loved Crewel and when I heart that this sequel was even better, I knew I had to read it.  Stoked that the audio was available for review!

Defy by Sara B. Larson - Yesyesyes!!!  I'm not thrilled about yet another love triangle but the fantasy elements and the girl disguising herself as a boy will hopefully make up for that.

So, that's my haul.  How about you?  What did you get this week?

The Treatment (The Program, #2)

I've had a lot going on this week, so even though I started The Treatment on Monday, I'm still working on it.  So far, it's really good.  James and Sloane...*sigh*. I really hope things work out for those kids.  Speaking of, I found like the most perfect track to use as a theme song for this series.  I don't usually make playlists for books, but that one would definitely be on it if I made one for The Treatment.

Four Seconds to LoseAltered & maybe Blythewood -- I just finished the audio and it was awesome  =)

  1. Okay so I had put in a request for The Treatment a really long time ago. I was fully expecting to be denied, but OH MY GOD, I wasn't! I know I shouldn't have read it yet but I just finished it today and I loved it.

Hope you love it too :)

  9. These are some new and interesting titles. Defy's cover reminds of 'Graceling' by Kristin Cashore but the plot sounds catchy so I will be adding this to my shelves soon enough !!
