{Giveaway} Feeling Inspired and Generous

So, I used to do these giveaways a lot back in the day as I made an effort to divest myself of books I no longer wanted, that I had no intention of re-reading, etc. And it went really well.

But all of a sudden, I find myself with another stack of unwanted books that need a good home. Some ARCs, some finished copies, maybe even an audiobook or two. I don't know...I've been clearing out my shelves since before the big move so there's really no telling what's included.

I could take them to Half Price Books. I could donate them to my local library. I could trade them on #booksfortrade. Or I could do a giveaway. OR. Or, I could do all of those things.

I know some of these books would find great homes with other collectors, and I was inspired by a fellow lover of books yesterday to make sure that they do, even if there's nothing to gain from it. Because, as she put it, "they're just hangin' out." :) So, in the next few weeks, I hope to reach out to some people and help them out with their collections, even if they're unable to help out with mine. Of course, I'll still be doing some #booksfortrade because I'm not that altruistic, but this is a start. ;0)

Mostly, I want to offer up some of these books to you guys! I'm not going to post what's up for grabs: a) I'm lazy and b) mystery boxes are fun. But I do want to send you books that you'll actually enjoy. So, when filling out the Rafflecopter form below, make sure to tell me what genre you like best. Clear Your Shelves Giveaway Hop - Winter 2014 Edition

If you checked out my 2014 Blogging Resolutions & Goals post, you'll know that one of the things I need to work on this year is my propensity to hoard books.  So, to kick off the new year right, I'm culling a massive amount of books from my library.  Technically, these were already on their way out and were already given space on the great shelf of giveaways (pictured below), but still, they need new homes and I don't like the top of my shelf being cluttered like that.  So, they are gone, baby, gone.  (Oh, and quite a few of those have already left the building, but I didn't take a more recent picture before I packed them all up.  Oops.)

Anyway, I've now got three boxes full of mystery books to give away.  One contains the entire Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick in hardcover.  Another is a miscellaneous box including paperbacks and hardcovers.  And the last box is chock full of ARCs -- 13 to be exact.  (I didn't do that on purpose, that's just how many happened to fit in the box.)

Which box is which?  Your guess is as good as mine.  No, seriously...I didn't label them.  D'oh!  But if you win, you get to pick which box you want:  A, B, or C.  There will be three winners because I want to see all of these books leave before I have the opportunity to open the boxes back up and decide I want to keep some of those books.  Trust me, I am weak-willed when it comes to culling my books.  It's like they're a part of me or something.  :*(

So Many Books So Little Time Giveaway #4

If you're wondering what this giveaway is all about, see my rambling post about the first giveaway in this series.










Time for the fourth installment of my giveaway series!  You know...the one where I'm trying to clean off my shelves and you guys reap the benefits.  :)  In all my cleaning and organizing, I found some series that I won't ever finish, some books that I bought at one of those Borders going-out-of-business sales -- that I probably won't get to for a very long time -- and some more ARCs that I've either already read or that I'm just not interested in.

In recent weeks, I've made some subtractions (previous SMBSLT giveaways) and yes, some more additions to my giveaway shelf, though not too many.  Check it out below to see if there's anything you're interested in.

If you want clarification of anything that's on the shelf, just ask.  I know this isn't the best picture.  :(
Scratch that.  I'm lazy, this is a mystery box, and I'm not feeling compelled to list out all the books on this shelf.  If you want a better pic of the shelf, please reference the last giveaway -- though keep in mind that some of those books are no longer on the shelf pictured above.  The question in the giveaway entries is just to get an idea of what books you like, so just take your best guess.  =)

I'm thinking of doing more than just one winner for this giveaway because honestly it'll take me forever if I keep giving away just 4 or 5 books each time, and I need that shelf for other things.  Okay, okay...not things...books.  ;0)  So, in order to enter, you MUST comment, telling me which book on this shelf you'd most like to win.  Keep in mind that if you win and select a book that's part of a series that's also featured on this shelf, you're going to get all the books I have in that series because I can't bear to break them up. Clear Your Shelf Giveaway Hop: Fall 2012 Edition

I'm doing some fall cleaning to get ready for the holidays and that means I'm getting rid of books!  My pocketbook won't thank me for the ginormous shipping charges (even if these giveaways are only available to the US...sorry!), but my bookshelves will!  :0)  Big thanks to Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer for hosting this Clear Your Shelf event!

Okay, so here's what I'm going to do:  I have several books from several genres, so I'm going to put together two mystery boxes -- one full of young adult and middle-grade titles and one containing adult titles (must be 18+ to enter this giveaway).  The books in these boxes may be finished copies or ARCs.  I'm actually not done with my cleaning yet, so I'll be adding to the boxes as I go.  I may even add a second box to each giveaway and pick a second winner...just depends on how the cleaning goes.  ;-)
