Stacking The Shelves # 1

Sunday, January 26, 2014 with 20 comments

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and is a way to share with everyone all the goodies you've received through out the week.

This week I'm starting at #1, because although I have done Stacking the Shelves before, I've never done it as a Starry-Eyed reviewer before. In case you missed it, I'm new here!! [Intro Post] Woo Hoo! I will try to get a post up every week. On my blog it was every other month, because I just didn't have the time. I do now though! :)

Vain by Fisher Amelie
Greed by Fisher Amelie

The Way You Look Tonight by Bella Andre
Textual Encounters by Morgan Parker
Cape Maybe by Carol Fragale Brill

For Review

The Tyrant's Daughter by J.C. Carleson
The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow
Grim by various authors
Project Paper Doll: The Hunt by Stacey Kade
Sunrise by Mike Mullin

I hope you all got some goodies this week too!

  1. Ooohhh I really want to read The Secret Diamond Sisters. I still have her Remembrance series to read. I've heard great things about Vain and Greed by Fisher Amelie. Sounds like an interesting series. Happy reading!

  4. Great haul! I'm hoping to get hold of the first Jenny Han book so I can start that series soon.

  5. What a nice looking assortment of books. I love Bella Andre's romances. I have The Hunt on my review stack too. Come see what I got at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!

  6. What a great haul this week. I see you received Sunrise by Mike Mullin, lucky duck. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on The Tyrant's Daughter as well.

On a side note, I don't think you noticed the misspelling but it's Tynga's reviews not Tygra's.

    Here's my Sunday Post & STS (:

  10. Yay for Sunrise! I totally did a happy dance when I heard it was on Netgalley and rushed to get it. I totally need a physical copy to sit on the shelf with the rest of the series, but there is no way I want to wait to read it, lol.

  11. I really need to get a copy of Summer I turned pretty. I hope you can stop by mine.

  12. Grim is looking really good :D Happy reading!

  13. I'm really intrigued by The Tyrant's Daughter. I haven't even read the synopsis yet but THAT COVER AND TITLE. *drools*

  14. I haven't read anything by Jenny Han yet, although I really want to. And I really want to read Grim as well. Happy reading!

  15. Ooh, Sunrise! I'm looking forward to that one. I got the Bella Andre freebie too.

  16. I've enjoyed your updates on Grim...I don't think all the stories would be for me, but some still sound great. I also see that you couldn't help picking up The Summer I Turned Pretty. :) Enjoy your new reads!

  17. I really like the cover for Cape Maybe.

  18. Hi April -- again!
Has Jen just conned you into doing ALL her blogging for her???
You have some great stuff. I read Ashfall and Ashen Winter but those were a little .... intense and gory for me, so I will just wait and read your review of Sunrise.
I'm reading Tyrant's Daughter right now -- it's interesting so far!
