Top Ten Tuesday: Our Most Anticipated Debut Novels for 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome ladies at The Broke and the Bookish. Apparently, they are overly fond of list-making and love to share their bookish lists with the rest of us book nerds.  =) We're game.

This week's topic is the Top Ten Most Anticipated Debut Novels For 2015.

April's Picks:

A few of these I have for review and a few I haven't even heard of yet. Thank you Goodreads for your 2015 debut listopia thread. lol. I'd have to say the one I'm most looking forward to is We all Looked Up by Tommy Wallach. And least of all, Red Queen, just because some people aren't saying very good things.. I still want to read it though. I just don't know if I'll be getting to it as soon as the others. :)

Jen's Picks:

Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace
The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
The Sin Eater's Daughter by Melinda Salisbury
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
The Girl of Midnight by Melissa Grey
Last Year's Mistake by Gina Ciocca
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Court of Fives by Kate Elliott
A Wicked Thing by Rhiannon Thomas (reading this one right now & enjoying it!)

As per usual, most of my hotly anticipated debut titles are fantasy. Only one contemporary made my list, though there are several I am definitely looking forward to. I have a couple of these on my review TBR already, but I'm dying to get to them and get my hands on copies of the rest.

Which debuts are you looking forward to this year? Be sure to share a link to your TTT post so we can visit!

  1. Written in the Stars sounds frickin' amazing! You don't see a lot of focus of YA books on Pakistani teenagers, so I'm extra excited to see the race and cultural differences. And I am excited for the Wrath and the Dawn! A Thousand and One Nights-inspired? Um, yesssssss.

I'm really excited to get my hands on Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. IN NEED OF IT BADLY.
