Why I'm waiting: Did you read Legend?!? Did you not see how June and Day contrasted and complemented each other? Did you not see that beautiful new cover, sans girl in pretty dress?!? That's what I thought. You missed out when Legend was released at the end of last year, and now you need to catch up just so you can hurry and wait with the rest of us until 2013. Yes. You read that right. 2013. Oy vey. Luckily, there is no shortage of awesome books between now and then, so I should be able to occupy myself while I endure that mind-boggling wait. Okay...easier said than done, but I'll manage somehow...

Hi have the first one, signed even, but I have not had the chance to read it... Oy. BUT I am still pining for Prodigy, just like you!! Isn't that cover fantastic? I love the stenciled spray effect. And I wonder what caused them to change the name from Patriot to Prodigy. I am sure that we will find out when we read it!!

ReplyDeleteI have heard so many great things about Marie Lu’s Legend, but I have never actually read it before. So, I guess that is good news that I have until 2013 to catch up! Surely, by next January I can have the first book read and be ready for this one! Anyway, the cover sure does looks awesome! Thanks for sharing your pick!

I had a big problem with Legend, the first book in series. I finished it in one sitting and I loved the story and all, but I still didn't adore it. It wasn't amazing or sth and I can't figure out why. -.- I liked it enough though to read the next, I hope it'll be better.

I've seen a few people share this for their WoW now. I can see why though! I still haven't read Legend myself but I've heard really great things about it and this one sounds good too. I should really get reading Legend before this one comes out! Anyway, thanks for sharing.

I loved Legend. Absolutely LOVED it. I liked the cover too, but the cover for Prodigy is just awesome. I am so excited to get my hands on this book, I can't stand it.
