Today, I have a special treat for you guys! I'm helping a friend of a friend reveal the cover for her YA debut novel! Said friend wouldn't steer me wrong, so without further ado, check it out:

Before Jacquelyn Sylvan became a writer, she worked as a waitress, video store clerk, trail-riding guide, and veterinary technician, among other things. She’s a few inches shy of five feet tall, which means she’s sometimes mistaken for a child when she rides her bike, and often looked at suspiciously by amusement park ride operators. When she’s not writing, you’ll probably find her watching Vampire Diaries or trying to warn people about the impending penguin apocalypse. So, what do you think? I love starbursts. You can't go wrong with starbursts on a cover, as far as I'm concerned. =) And I love the idea of waking dreams -- er, nightmares -- and I can't wait to read this one. Gotta catch up on some review books first, but then I am all over this!
