So, since my end-of-the-week post isn't just about what I got in my mailbox or on my Kindle each week -- though that is a big part of it, I won't lie -- I decided to change up the title and intro a bit.  I might tweak the format a bit over time, but for the most part, it'll contain the same stuff: stuff I got, stuff I did, and stuff that's coming up on the blog.  Plus, I get to use the awesome GIF you see here and blow kisses to all the people who sent me lovely books and bookish things.  Oh, and I've started linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer since I'm not using a specific meme title anymore.
This week was sooo much better than last. It helps that I'm a fully functioning human again, though that does mean I'm back to adulting full-time. Boo. But it helps to keep reminding myself that I just have a couple more weeks until vacation. =)

I felt like a real blogger again this week, too: posting a review, taking #bookstagram photos, participating in a blog tour or two. It was nice. And I've been working on some discussion posts, too, which is actually my favorite kind of post to write. Maybe not your favorite to read because I tend to ramble, but it is what it is. :P

Okay, okay. On to the books. Here's what I scored this week...

From Publishers:

 Instagram

Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1)The Diabolic

Traded:

Thanks to the lovely April, I have now added both of these books to my collections. I'm so excited to start both of them! I'd also like to say that this was one of the most pleasant trades I've ever partaken in, and I'd highly recommend trading with April. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. =)

New #booksfortrade | Have You Seen This? post with some new books up for grabs! I'm still looking for a few high profile ARCs, like Throne of Glass, The Near Witch, and Scarlet (Gaughen), plus some other 2016 releases.

Won:

A few weeks ago, I won a giveaway from author Kayla Olson for these two novels, and they arrived this week! I've read Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies already and really enjoyed it, so I'm happy to have a finished copy for my library. And I'm very intrigued by Look Both Ways. I've never read anything by Alison Cherry, so hopefully this will be my gateway book to her body of work. :)

Freebies:

I didn't grab either of the titles from SYNC this week, but you should totally check them out.

Library:

Illuminae (The Illuminae Files, #1)

I should probably just buy this audiobook already, as many times as I've read and listened to this story. But I actually needed it this time, so I'm prepared to start Gemina. Eeeek!

So, that's my haul. =) What fabulous bookmail did you get this week?

The Week in Review:

Reviews:

738 Days

Current Giveaways:

 My Lady Jane Blog Tour

 Burn Blog Tour

Promotional/Discussion Posts:
Currently Reading:

A Shadow Bright and Burning (Kingdom on Fire, #1)I'm not very far into this book yet, but it's already proven to be quite captivating. I pretty much saw something about fire magic and was like, YEP, but it's so much more than that.

Currently Listening:

Delirium (Delirium, #1)When I'm between audiobooks, I tend to gravitate toward series re-reads. I just got a copy of Lauren Oliver's newest novel, and it made me curious to go back and re-read Delirium and see if it still appeals to me the same way it did all those years ago.

Recently Read/Needs Review:

A Week of MondaysCaraval (Untitled, #1)Ever the Hunted (Clash of Kingdoms, #1)The Near Witch (The Near Witch, #1)A Study in Charlotte (Charlotte Holmes, #1)
The Unexpected EverythingThe Rose & the Dagger (The Wrath & the Dawn, #2)A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)The Last Star (The 5th Wave, #3)

  4. I'm looking forward to Replica a lot, and probably should read more Lauren Oliver. The only one I've read is Panic. And I'm pretty excited about Gemina too.

  5. Jealous of Replica and some of your books you're needing to review! Glad you're feeling back to normal, although like you said, that means back to adulting. I'm looking forward to my little mini-vacation this coming weekend. Have a great week!
