I'm almost done listening to The Scorpio Races, LOVE IT, but I'd like something a little lighter for my next listen, so after seeing April at Good Books & Good Wines review of Being Sloane Jacobs (Audio Version), my mind was quickly made up. Plus I really loved her book Meant to Be. Maybe Someday is Colleen Hoover and I have yet to read a book of hers I haven't liked, though I'm a little nervous about this one. Jess will be holding my hand though. Yay Buddy reads! And See Me, it wasn't on my radar at all, but Jess wants to read it together so I snatched it up.

Freebies

A Beautiful Lie

I wasn't going to grab any freebies this week, but then I saw this one shared around a lot and could not resist.

Here are a few titles you won't be seeing on my STS's. Thank you Goodreads for the recommendations. *snickers*

I hope you all had a great week! I know I've been horrible at blog visiting this past few weeks, but I'm determined to hit up many this weekend. See, if I put it in writing, I'll surely find the time, right? lol

  2. Some of those GR recommendations shelves make me giggle - the ones that come up for my DNF shelf are particularly amusing.

    Have a great week!

  3. Hah funny. I know it's just computer generated on Goodreads but they should have some common sense when creating the algorithms. I hope you enjoy all your new books.

  5. Great haul!!! I've heard amazing things about Being Sloane Jacobs.
Sometimes GR just doesn't realize what shelves to base their recommendations on; that's just so funny :D.
I hope you like all of your new books :D

  6. I was just admiring (a.k.a. coveting) How To Fall on Goodreads last night. I sooo want to see your review for that one. And AW, I liked Six Impossible Things! Though it was a tad bit ridiculous at times. XD
