I ...Wonderful post, congrats on getting through it. I feel these surveys can take us so long to finish each year, we kinda all deserve a medal for managing to get through it! WOW 251 is an amazing amount of books to get through, congrats! I loved Night Owls/The Anatomical Shape of the Heart and I can't wait to see what Bennett writes next. Illuminae is one I read this year, just finished it two days ago and I LOVED it. Such a wonderfully unique read, I am so excited for the next book in this series. I still haven't read Stolen but I really need too. I got Their Fractured Light for Christmas and am so excited to finish that series. Also very excited to finish the Red Rising series, Morning Star can't release quickly enough.

Great answers. I hope you have a wonderful 2016 and happy reading! :) Here's my survey if you want to check out my answers.Charnell @ Reviews from a Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12694156080937232949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2773985780576975329.post-60283010161732437182016-01-03T17:00:30.088-06:002016-01-03T17:00:30.088-06:00Hi, ladies! It happened to me too. I had to give up blogging last year, and I'm still trying to piece my life together. lol! Not that I'm in bad shape or anything, but I still have ways to go -- growing to do. But anyway... I haven't forgotten you two, and even though I'm not part of the blogging community anymore, I do want to be an active reader around here again. I hope you're good with that. ;)

Reading your answers made me realize how much I missed out on last year! MORNING STAR comes out soon, and I have yet to read GOLDEN SON. I mean, what am I doing with my life? amiright, April? I'll have to commit to a reread of RED RISING, because I could use the refresher, and I'm sort of wondering if I'd love it even more the second time around! I keep hearing great things about A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES and SIX OF CROWS, but I have yet to finish up THE GRISHA TRILOGY. So, yeah, I'm so behind with the times. I also have my eyes set on UPROOTED and V.E. Schaub's A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC. I'm MISSING OUT...

But... I'm not completely out of the loop. THE RAVEN KING and THE WINNER'S KISS are at the top of my reading list too, Jen! It's going to be an epic year for Series Enders! I'm currently reading WINTER right now, and I NEED to get to THEIR FRACTURED LIGHT sometime soon, so yeah... I've got a lot of series finales to look forward to this year! It's gonna be great! :)

Jen, you mentioned ILLUMINAE a lot, and guess what? I'm the first one in line to check it out from my library. I'm just waiting for it to come in! April, you mentioned STOLEN quite a bit, and I've had this one on my bookshelf for more than year now. The fact that you LOVED it, makes me feel like I need this one in my life and PRONTO!

I'm determined to make 2016 an amazing reading year, and I can't wait to see what other rec's you girls have in store for me along the way! It feels good to drop by again. <3 Thanks for letting me in on your reading year! *hugs*Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12274355208601978550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2773985780576975329.post-15996244611004085872016-01-03T12:18:24.082-06:002016-01-03T12:18:24.082-06:00YES re: Vision in Silver! That's amazing! That's almost ...76 rereads! That's amazing! That's almost all the books I read this year lol (81). I want to reread more next year for sure, got 9 in though. LOVED Simon!! The Trouble With Destiny was really disappointing for me too and I didn't read PSISLY bc of all the bad reviews from people I trust :( Oh I loved First & Then! Love the Seven Realms series (each book gets better!) and Winter was the best ender! Can't wait to see where the Red Queen series goes. RONNNNN! I want to reread Seven Realms also, before Flamecaster comes out!! Can't wait for that book! (It's set 20 years later in the same world, with some of the same characters.) I read Alanna for the first time this year too! So glad I finally did, it was amazingggg. #otspsecretsister really was fun this year; I'm not participating next round but I'm glad I did for the past two! EVERY MOVE IS SO AMAZING, YOU HAVE TO READ IT IMMEDIATELY! But a series reread wouldn't be so bad either ;) Make way for The Raven King *raises hands* Happy reading to you both in 2016!

Morgan @ The Bookish Beaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05455877395068242798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2773985780576975329.post-78260282884657233042016-01-02T09:52:07.736-06:002016-01-02T09:52:07.736-06:00This was awesome. And I got to meet Jennifer Niven at BEA and she was awesome and her book totally made me ugly cry. If you liked that one, you should give The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand a try. WOW! That was such a fantastic book. I'm looking forward to a new year! I love to look at everybody else's though, and you guys did such a great job, I just had to comment. I can't wait for The Raven King either, Jen. This waiting really could be labeled a form of torture, lol. Take care, ladies. I hope you both had an enjoyable New Year's!Kim Griffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16649048042099625963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2773985780576975329.post-66947731407371981202016-01-01T07:07:38.692-06:002016-01-01T07:07:38.692-06:00Hi ladies. You're the first blog I am commenting on this year :) Woohoo!

I loved seeing the differences in your lists compared to each other and compared to myself. I did this survey too. I posted mine on Christmas so a few books were read after that post. For example I read a total of 112 books in 2015. Also Confess....yes fricking loved that book so hard (finished it yesterday). I also filmed my best & worst books of 2015 yesterday before completing Confess so that missed my list but hey Hopeless made the list so I probably would have just switched them out.

Anyway I hope both of you have an amazing year that brings you lots of joy and great books!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03788509341952776305noreply@blogger.com
